Gin is in and Makar, Scots for poet, is poetry in your glass. Makar Glasgow Gin is the first gin brand from metropolitan Glasgow. It launched late last year from The Glasgow Distillery Company, a company inspired by one of Glasgow’s original distilleries which was founded at Dundashill in 1770, the original distillery remained active until the beginning of the 20th Century.
